The Curmudgeon is probably the one knitting blog I have stuck with the longest, pretty much since she started out. Sure, she has a potty keyboard. Yeah, she can be irritating. But here's the thing...

First, she doesn't care if she's irritating. I like that. After many moons of being "nice", and subjecting myself to no end of shabby treatment, I have finally grown out of it. I am still nice, but I can stand my ground. I like the curmudgeon because I think she is probably very nice herself, but can express an opinion without having a conniption. Cool.

Second, she knows her stuff.

I look forward to popping other admired blogs on this here one, but alas, I must move on tonight. It's 10 to 8:00 and I still need to finish some more of Isaac's party invitations, clean up, made a pineapple upside down cake, and clean up the kitchen. Boo!

Plied together a merino/soy yarn today. I think it will be veddy nice.
